Samsung S20 help please.

I recently switched phones and carriers. Went from Verizon and a Samsung S9 to T-Mobile and an S20. Since the switch I haven't been able to get Android Auto to connect. Also the Waze app will not load maps. Any ideas? All permission are on. The phone is paired with the truck. I can make and receive calls through the truck. My contacts are good as well. No apps show up when cabled to the truck.

Not 100% sure but you might have to plug it in and then access Android Auto on the phone (while plugged in) so you can set the permissions. After you do this once you should not have to do again.

Pretty sure they skip quite a few numbers along the way though. I think or a 9 or 10 but only about 2 years old.

I "upgraded" from an S7 to the S20. I want my 7 back. This thing is a POS.

I did that. The truck is not finding the phone while cable is connected.

I think it is Samsung. The iPhone would probably work fine

At least it sounds like I haven't missed anything! I figured I'll keep it until it won't work anymore.

My S20 connects with no issues. Maybe try a different cable. Some cables are only made for charging and not data transfer.

Man. I didn’t think of that. 2 options my money says it is the cable. But an iPhone would work too.
