I’m a big believer in both the AMSoil HDMP and Woolwax. If the HDMP was sold by the gallon and I could spray it with wands and shop air, I absolutely would. I believe it’s the better of the products because it is far and away more resistant to wash off.
However, most modern vehicles have far too many nooks and crannies that you cannot thoroughly and effectively coat with a spray can.
I elected to base coat with AMSoil cans and top coat with pressurized Woolwax. I’ve been very happy with both. Do not waste your time with Fluid Film. It’s the same product, by the same company, it smells worse, and washes off very easily. Woolwax is the new and improved.
I have a thread on here about my spraying adventures somewhere.
