Running rough and white smoke

Good luck. At least with warranty ford actually cares how the dealer fixes it. Hope they sort it out

Did they scope the bad cylinder or are they taking the head off? How long ago was the Roush stuff put on? Is the program stock Roush?

This burns me up, hearing people being told by salesman that a Roush Raptor has full warranty.
It's misleading and actually criminal to imply this to potential owners.

At one of my dealerships I go to, I confronted the sales manager about one of their sales rep pitching that BS to too someone.
The manager acted like he new nothing about the specifics of the warranty, and would look into the matter.

In other words "yeah thanks, see ya later", but the commission to be made is huge so buyer be aware.


Moore1 sorry to hear this, your looking at $10,000 for the dealer to replace your engine, with blower back on with shipping, labor and taxes.
You would be able to get a whole new Supplemental Powertrain Warranty from Roush again. Unfortunately Roush does not offer a 60,000 mile one

When we did the SVT and Rousch tours, both places said that Ford would back the Roush Raptor if installed by Roush in Michigan. So if he bought it that way from the dealer and it wasn't caused by another modification or abuse, he should have it covered.

The high mileage puts him into an extended warranty, now that one I don't know about? Not sure if ESP would cover it.

Yes I heard about that.
If you order a stage 2 through a Roush dealer have it sent directly to Roush from SVT, they would warranty it pass the standard 3/36,000 warranty.
And I believe it's another $10,000 over the $20,000 they normally charge you.
All that small written stuff is on Roush's website somewhere.

Moore1 has a stage 1, not sure who installed it, and if he didn't purchase a Roush extended supplemental powertrain warranty above what comes standard, he might be out off luck.

Holy Crap, they have added pages since last I look years ago. LOL

It starts at page 6 and goes on till page 42, but I didn't see anything about more than 3/36,000. Just different levels of coverage.

Hate to say it but yeah, bad things indeed when it smokes like a chimney. This is what it will look like when opened up, courtesy of my factory 03 SVT block - barely outside of time frame for warranty but only 12,000 miles with a great tune; never did find the actual problem in my case not that it mattered much. Hang in there bud, it should get taken care of by one or the other I'd say, or heads should be on spikes
