According to AAA's website their are 16 states where you can use your hazard lights 24/7. That really seems odd to me.

To me hazard lights are totally different than parking light. I'm not sure how they can compare the two.

I agree, I wasn't comparing them at all. I simply ran across this info when seeking state laws about parking lights and thought it might interest somebody else.

So does anyone have some goods pics of the wires for a DIY?

Ran outisde to snap a few pictures best I could. Not sure thy will help but I'll try to explain it for you, on the passenger side footwell just pull the plastic cover off and you will see the BCM, will help removing the glove box (3 bolts on bottom). The front parking lights are connected to the grey 10 pin connector with the green tape around the wire you want to tap into is yellow with green trace only one in that connector. The rear ones are connected the black 32 pin connector up and to the left of the grey one the wire you are looking for on this one is yellow with blue trace, there are 2 of these you want the large of the 2 wire. I used the blue clips you see in the pictures and 2 pieces of wire (WHITE coming from the 10 pin, then BLUE wire coming from the 32 pin, the white wire tapped into the wire on the grey connector, and BLUE piece of wire tapped into the wire on the black pin connector, I then tapped the BLUE from the 32 pin into the wire WHITE coming off the 10 pin from there I found the AUX wires, they will be bundled together (search this forum for more info on them). I used the brown wire which is connected to AUX #4, I ran the wire WHITE wire to the brown wire and boom, I turned the AUX 4 switch one and the parking lights come on. Sorry if this confuses you. I've add some pictures sorry if they aren't great.
