Unless Ford shows us something concrete I'll be jumping ship. We know for certain the Ram will be making the TRX w/ a 6.2 Hellcat engine. At the very least it'll have 575hp but more than likely 707. Also with a newer 2019 chassis/body and interior improvements over Ford's F150 from 2015.

Ford may produce a Raptor with the SC'd 5.2 but it may still be in the current model. That would make it a swan song when the all new F150 comes out the year after. That scenario sucks.

The dual bilsteins thing has me worried that it's just going to be a factory lifted brodozer with a big engine.

And I realize the swan song scenario you described may be unpalatable to you but it is essentially what I did with my current truck and I would be quite happy to do it again. Bear in mind that there will most likely be a year or two lag in bringing a new Raptor to market when the F-150 gets a full redesign.

In any case, if Ford is going to build this thing then we will know for sure before the TRX comes out.

Thanks for letting us know... Again... You know, in case someone that cares missed it the other 2 or 3 times you mentioned it in this thread.

I specifically want you to know and I'm specifically telling you because you don't care. Let me know if you continue not caring so I can tell you again :lol2:

Engines aside I hope it forces Ford to link the rear eventually.

I visit the MacRumors site periodically to get up to date on upcoming products and software updates. These reports are rarely directly from apple, their accuracy however is typically pretty good, and pretty much spot on as the release day nears. This applies to both good and bad news. Most of it is good news. I'm not sure where you're pulling this theory from, if not your own ass.

Clearly you are not paying attention. Countless people in this thread claim Ford executives leaked this information intentionally. I'm saying no way, no how Ford started these rumors on purpose because all it does is shoot themselves in the foot in terms of current sales and giving the competition advanced notice.

A linked rear would be the only reason to hold off on buying a Gen 2 V8 to wait for a Gen 3.

Funny that you posted this because I was literally just looking at this photo:

And thinking to myself I really hope the 2021 F-150 finally gets a linked rear.

Agreed
I see that, that's why I hope it forces Ford to link as well. Competition among mfgr's is a good thing for customers. And I hate leafs

I get what you're saying and my reply stands. I think you're the one not paying attention. You think Apple doesn't leak any of this information? It happens all the time, it generates buzz and talking points.
