We can test the M&R fog lights, 30" behind the grill, both 40" on bed rack (and separately M&R and Blackhawk) and hell just for fun the M&R rock lights.. Lol

And also stock (2010-12) headlights vs 35watt Raptor retrofit vs 50 watt Raptor Retrofit and RSI HID vs stock HID

Exact same course. The groupings are just to get the faster guys in front of the slower guys. You can move up or down in group, it's not a big deal.

Is that something that gets decided at the event or in the pre-planning stage?

When you register, you pick your Driver Classification, A, B or C.

I picked C but heard that if you start passing people on your runs, to move up.

You ranked your driver experience when you registered, I get this question more than any other. Driver experience ranking is only used to stage everyone up the first laps of the day. It's not something that's set in stone, if you get passed a bunch the first morning, ask to move down, and vice-versa. Once the day gets going and less people are on the track, you don't have to start by driver classification.

It's really self explanatory when you get there. It's basically to keep the faster people in front so they aren't being slowed down. Everyone runs at their own pace at TRR. If you picked too high of a classification Just move down a group on the next lap, same if you end up being faster than you though, just move up a class next lap.

The main thing is to just get out there in the class you think you will run in and just drive at your own pace. If someone catches you, pull over and let them pass. If you catch someone, flash your lights, and wait till they let you pass. The main thing is drive in your comfort zone. Nobody cares at all if they pass someone.

I know many of you are staying on site, but for those of us that are princesses, yeah yeah...Which is the closest hotel (that's not a hole). lol. What is your fav place to stay in the past?

McWhorters Lodge is only a few miles away but it's Mexico 2 Star at best.

Sweetwater is your best bet for a name brand room. It's 35 miles away, straight shot down.
