Awesome job man! That rear end really does sit up high until the springs settle, I guess.

That's awesome Jonathan! I also tackled it by myself and learned a lot about my truck. It's a great feeling of accomplishment when it's finally off the jack stands with the wheels back on it.

Torquing all of the bolts while on my back kicked my ass!!! Trying to find creative ways to get leverage was challenging to say the least. :fca5278e:

Yea, I don't know how everyone else is doing it. It was a real pain in the ass trying to get enough leverage for the amount of torque required.

I didn't have any problem torquing the bolts but I'm only 5'8" and I had the rear jacked up high so I could sit down and torque them. Or brace myself against something under neath

If it's written somewhere in this thread and I missed it, my apologies, but which springs did you go with? SD or HD?

Thank you.

If you went with hd springs the height might be ok, but i did my stage 3 yesterday with the sd springs and it definitely does not sit that high. Did you discard the stock axle pads?

I did Not put the stock pads back on
It has settled down a little bit, I need to measure again tomorrow and see where it has settled. It is still a little higher than my mid perch, just from the look of it

You did have the trucks weight on the rear axle when you tightened everything up, right ?
If you still had it jacked up when you cinched everything down, it'd sit up like that.

I did mine solo, it was not fun.
