I used a ratchet strap to an anchor pulling on the end of the bumper and created a .25" gap between the bumper and the body mount on the passenger side and got a reasonable gap between the bumper and the body. Previously the bumper mount was flush against the body mount on the PS and .25 gap on the drivers side.

I then jacked the truck up on the drivers side under the end of the bumper where the gap was bigger and was able to close the gap a little. They are not identical but they are pretty darn close now on each side to the point I am happy. I really did not think once the two rack and pinion bolts were tightened I could move it that much but there is a reasonable amount of play still. I really tightened the two bolts in the eye of the frame down hard so it should not move.

On another note for those of you in states requiring front license plates, I took a 2" piece of aluminum and bent it 130ish degrees and sandwiched it between the skid and the bumper to mount my front plate to. It will work until I get a LED bar in there.

The truck looks great, I am only disappointed I did not get an RPG sticker with the front skid plate to give them some free advertising.

I will get some new pictures this week and post up.

Good news. Looking forward to seeing your updated pics. I may give the ratchet strap trick a try.

I was starting to think wow if your not sure leave it to the pros but glad you got it. All I could picture is a comedy where the guy uses duck tape to try and fix his screw up.
