Is it normal for quite a bit of overflow to happen when off-roading?
I was surprised how much came out the overflow tube. I need to get a longer hose if this will be a common occurrence.

Or could there be something wrong with the overflow value? Any way to test it?

I've yet to have any overflow with mine. Possibly you over filled it.

Huck is right, are you at or below the baffle in the res, I also ran a longer overflow line not to shit up under the hood.

Yes it is filled only to below the baffle. Actually I didn't fill it, installer did. I just refilled when I saw the fluid running down the suspension after a run.

In the video, they state that it's only supposed to be at the baffle when HOT.

Yeah, I refilled it after a run, so it was HOT.

Going to Raptoberfest. Will bring plenty of fluid. Will see how it goes again after a few laps. I was thinking that maybe I have a faulty overflow release value and didn't know if it was replaceable.

That's an idea. Just a normal plastic water bottle? How did you attach it, black electrical tape?

yup just hid it next to the airbox out of site so no one sees a random water bottle haha it was a quick fix i did on a run because i was tired of spewing powerstearing fluid all over but it works and ive been running it perminently.
