Sooo cheap? Really? Sounds to me like he paid $550. When you add the cost of the actual bump stops that he'll have to buy, plus now the cost of getting new strike plates...he's over $1,000. You can buy these kits brand new for $1200-1500 (and those are retail prices). This doesn't sound like a deal at all to me. For someone who didn't want to haggle over $50....sounds like you didn't want to pay $100 for new strike plates so you jewed this guy out of them. The strike plates are clearly pictured in this ad and it definitely doesn't seem that the buyer was made aware that they would not be included. Doesn't appear to be much excuse for this?
Also, just for reference, I bought a used bump stop kit on Craigslist for $275 complete...even with the actual bump stops included. Yes, it was in great shape and was made by a very reputable company. I know that was a smokin deal...but let's not pretend that this deal here was some charity case give away.
