Sooo cheap? Really? Sounds to me like he paid $550. When you add the cost of the actual bump stops that he'll have to buy, plus now the cost of getting new strike plates...he's over $1,000. You can buy these kits brand new for $1200-1500 (and those are retail prices). This doesn't sound like a deal at all to me. For someone who didn't want to haggle over $50....sounds like you didn't want to pay $100 for new strike plates so you jewed this guy out of them. The strike plates are clearly pictured in this ad and it definitely doesn't seem that the buyer was made aware that they would not be included. Doesn't appear to be much excuse for this?

Also, just for reference, I bought a used bump stop kit on Craigslist for $275 complete...even with the actual bump stops included. Yes, it was in great shape and was made by a very reputable company. I know that was a smokin deal...but let's not pretend that this deal here was some charity case give away.

Reference my earlier post. I will refund his money. It's purely principal now. I don't give a **** if he has to buy bump stops. I offered him a pair at a great price and he was not interested in them. The plates would have come with the bump stops. Why would I separate them. Actually he paid me $450 for a stage one Rpg kit that does NOT come with strike plates. Shipping was another $100. So yea he got a great deal on a stage 1 Rpg bump stop reinforcement kit. Yes it was missing two .50 cent nuts. The offer still stands he can send them back if he Likes. Oh and if he would have given me his number, or called the number I gave him. None of this would have been an issue.

Honestly it was painted and as it was drying I took a picture. I didn't realize they were there.

I don't have a position in this issue, but I gotta say that this is a deal between two members and any input from others at this point isn't going to help anyone. The buyer clearly stated that he was done talking about it. The seller clearly stated that he would refund the money if the buyer wanted. I think that in the spirit of this forum, the buyer and seller should communicate through PM's if needed. Our input surely isn't required or desired and will only act as a deterrent for future sales for others. We should all move on and let these two guys work it out amongst themselves......
