makes sense, I thought they were denying steering for having a bump kit in the rear. They dont have anything to do with each other. mods usually void certain items not the whole vehicle.

If we are talking dealerships in the US, that's the law. Its on them to prove the mod voids the warranty on the part in question. Of course, what really ends up happening is they deny the claim, and it becomes your job to fight it. But still, the "law" is on your side.

As for the OP's question: nope. I've had a few warranty issues handled by my dealership with no complaints. The latest was the IWE that went out, which they covered under the drivetrain warranty: http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f52/uh-crap-wheel-hub-blew-out-integrated-wheel-end-iwe-9606/

yeah mine just blew out. But that was caused by my previous breakdown of the steering gear cv shaft. So im fixing all that with my own dough. After this slate is clean any other breakdown... dealership.

That sucks though that Ford wont warranty the work seeing as your Raptor is only 6 months old, and you don't have many modes other then perch adjustment and rims & tires.

I took the truck to two different dealers, both said not covered. Since the housing was cracked, the second said it looked like abuse.

I didn't know about the law, but whenever I pushed back on them they just kept saying Ford would not cover it.:banghead:

I love how the "abuse" thing has become the de-facto cop out at Ford dealers now. It seems like if you go in for anything they'll just look at the bottom of your truck and if it has any scratches at all, they'll scream abuse and not fix whatever it was.

I have no idea if the RPG kits will void any part of your warranty, the bump kit might do something to your rear suspension warranty and maybe your frame "warranty" but really, why would you care? It's going to protect all that stuff. Your frame isn't gonna bend with it on there, and you're not going to blow out your shocks because the bump will protect them unless you get really crazy.

Yeah, it wasn't too bad. And the steering wasn't affected, but I didn't like having it on there.

Aaron, I agree. The RPG warranty is the ONLY warranty I need.

Yep! and once you get enough of their parts on there it covers most of the truck anyway, lol.
