Precache the road maps not terrain. Most roads and trails show on the road map

It's not that easy with MotionX GPS for the iPad. You must email the file to a special MotionX email address, then you will get it on your iPad in the format required.

A GPX file is required. An iPad with 3G is required (WiFi version does not have GPS chip). Send email with GPX file to [email protected]. Open your iPad mail client, Use the link in the email, it will launch the MotionX app and allow you to import the file.

There are other ways, but this method is most reliable in my opinion.

Your iPad running MotionX will eat up your battery quickly. KEEP IT PLUGGED IN during use.

You can go into the itunes section for motionx x and "share" files. It uploads them directly to the iPad.

Get well Clint did you by chance have a cabin? I would hate to see it go to waste if I'm getting soaked by rain lol. The kids really want to tent so I'm hoping for sun. but it might work for a run to the cabin or Nicole and Joe might get some visitors. Cookie time might be some left by the time I get there.
