At that angle it looks like only 1 will be able to hold it from side to side. Criss cross might not catch the tire.
Give her a try you never know, 2 would be best.

Flip the tire over and have her put her butt in it, then strap them down using two straps in an X. That way she'll holds the tire in place.

finished up my chaserack today and made sure everything went in and out like I invisioned it too with straps n all that jazz. Completley removeable for putting the tent in and Im pretty confident it could handle some minor jumping (pretty darn solid for being wood). Also found a roll or red pinstripe I bought a while back and decided to pinstripe the hooda bit. The red really pops on there now
