just wanted to post here that i'm selling my Wouxun KG-UV6D hand held radio. big blue posted in ironmans for sale thread that a few guys were looking for a radio. i bought this from trey's radio guy last year for the TRR and i used it one day and put it up never needed it and haven't used it since it's got all the channels you need and came programmed with the freqs trey gave them. i have the cigarette lighter battery adapter the hand help mic and a nice high powered magnetic antenna with an extra 5 feet of cable so it'll reach out the door from the radio to the antenna.

i paid about 225 for the radio
another 85 for the antenna
and i cant remember how much the cigarette lighter and hand mic was but i'll sell it 225 shipped to your front door! let me know or PM me if anyone is interested... you guys have fun up there and be safe!! no wrecked raptors please :)

A radio is mandatory on this run. Thanks for posting and letting us know.

to save on shipping, I can bring it up from TRR if anyone on this run buys it.

I still can't think of where I would put the permanent type one, but think that is the way I want to go if I get it figured out. I will know by the end of march if I get the one I'm looking at or have to barrow one if that still works.

Yea that'll definitely work joe! If someone wants to save on shipping and had you deliver it ill take $200 for it that way!

Wilson I had the same Dilemma with mounting a radio as well there's a few places to mount is but no where the driver would e able to reach it without leaning over or losing leg room! That's why I bought the Wouxun. And well I used it once for TRR last year and never needed it then and dot need it now! It had great range with the antenna I have though!

SOLD!!

We have our spots all finalized with the campground and we're happy with the set-up. A creek to one side of most spots, shelters, and pretty close to the facilities :chewie:

We'll be at 59, 60, 74-77 and the spots in between 77 and 78. I estimated two tents per spot to save a little money, but we should have plenty of room to spread out.

Ironman and family and Lug/Lugswife will be in Cabins, and IronSide will be commuting.

I'm excited for this!
