As soon as I heard about this run, I was thinking, uh-oh I hope we don't have a line of severe thunderstorms pounding our trucks! LOL!

one of my highschool buddy is a storm chaser nut. Missed his calling as a weatherman. Ive gone on a few chases with him, I would definitely like to avoid those massive hail producing cells.

I've done my share of that. It's crazy in tornado alley in the spring with all the researchers, storm chasers and storm chase "businesses". I stick to the our high plains storms which are just as good and not as "crowded".
