The value of the left over 3.5 would play a part in that price and I'm not sure i've even seen a price tag on those yet. We also don't know what they may or may not work out with Ford to make it more cost effective.



I'm not going to let the potential cost ruin this moment for me though. Plenty of people have said a v8 will never happen so the fact that is happening should be proof enough that anything is possible, even an affordable v8 option.



I'd rather this thread be about the facts of this happening though, not bickering about price. Feel free to start another thread about the cost.

I've said since the beginning I expect it to happen, glad to see it's being looked at at least.

The price of the ecoboost would offset the price of the v8 and blower. Give me 550hp 600ft trq.

I bet roush is test fitting and tuning the engine for the 2018 raptors, which will have the v8s.

How much do you want to bet? I'll take that bet.

The next Gt500 soon to be coming , New Lightning is supposed to happen with a de tuned engine from that. The Lightning and Raptor will share that engine. Raptor will have 2 engine options in the future.
