I'd guess somewhere between 10k-50k?

We can worry about the price tag later, right now I'm just excited to see what comes of this!

The Coyote crate motor is like $8k on its own without a supercharger. Ford Racing Supercharger is like $7k. Add other misc. parts, labor and markups and it seems like this would be very costly build...

The value of the left over 3.5 would play a part in that price and I'm not sure i've even seen a price tag on those yet. We also don't know what they may or may not work out with Ford to make it more cost effective.

I'm not going to let the potential cost ruin this moment for me though. Plenty of people have said a v8 will never happen so the fact that is happening should be proof enough that anything is possible, even an affordable v8 option.

I'd rather this thread be about the facts of this happening though, not bickering about price. Feel free to start another thread about the cost.

What sort of spin do you think Ford would offer in the PR campaign if they were to replace the 3.5 for a V8 in 2019 or so? They've painted themselves in a corner with how they pumped up the 3.5 and can't imagine what they'd try to say.

Ford isn't going to. Too much time and money has been spent on telling the masses this is the future.
