Roush cat-back exhaust

I have a Roush Performance Cat-back exhaust. I love the way the truck sounds from outside the truck but inside the truck between 2000 rpm to 2500 rpm there is a drone in the truck that makes me want to stick a ice pick in my ear! Has anyone had any problems with interior noise being too loud with this exhaust and has anyone else had better luck with other brands I’m about to put the stick muffler back on and just keep the over axle Roush kit out the back. Thanks guys!

FWIW...I’m running the AWE 2FG and I have no drone at any speed. Good luck getting your issue resolved!

Thanks I was just looking at the AWE 2FG. That’s just replacing the stock muffler with an H-pipe correct?

Correct. However...it includes the over the axel pipes and extension pipes for Supercrews.

Try sticking the stock resonator back on, it should fix the drone and keep most of the sound outside.
