Roush CAI - Better Filter?

Recently picked up a 14’ truck with a Roush CAI. Typically don’t install these on my vehicles because I’ve heard they don’t do a lot benefit and can result in additional partials getting into the intake/engine.

Don’t know that I want to go back to stock but not against that.

The current Roush (looks identical to a KN) filter looks to be in good shape and not overly oiled or dirty.

Are there any better filter options that would fit on this CAI?

I don’t mind buying a new Roush filter but not sure I should stick with an oiled filter if I’m going to be in dusty areas

For anyone that’s also curious, I received this email from Roush when I emailed them:

We do not sell a filter for this cold air intake that is dry. The only filters designed and tested for this year is the oiled filter.

I wouldn't go with a dry filter on a SC Raptor, it will be too restrictive.
If your truck is Naturally Aspirated, then a dry filter will be fine.
An aftermarket CAI does very little to none for HP.

Also, you can use a filter sock like I do when needed.
I also have two filters so one is always ready to swap out.
There is a bonus to having two because it takes time for the oil to fully saturate to cotton and dry to tacky.
S & B should have the filter size for the Roush and you can even go with blue color oil instead of the red which is default.
