I know my '20 rides like a nice luxury car. It's on the firm side, but it swallows the roughness of our crappy roads here amazingly well and corners very flat. I had a good friend and his wife out for a long ride on back roads and she commented several times about how good the ride is and how quiet it is. I wonder if they made some software changes?

Mine is a 20’ also. Yesterday on the road hit a pothole doing maybe 30 and it just about ****** the steering wheel out of my hand it hit so hard.

I have a 19, so not quite the same, but still live shocks and you must have something wrong. I take speed bumps without slowing down at all, and have been off road a LOT, doing some high speed stuff and it handles great. I do air down quite a bit off road, but other than that my suspension is stock 19.

That's fuc*** up! Something has to be not working properly in your system. My friends wife was sitting in the back seat and watching me go over potholes and blown out destroyed areas of road and would laugh and comment on how she couldn't even feel anything. We have some of the ********* roads in the US here and it works great. That's why I bought the truck, instead of another car, because our roads are so bad. I figured it was the best of both worlds. I hope you are able to get it sorted.

This truck will handle bumps, speed bumps and potholes better than most. But what I learned is tire pressure is pretty critical in getting a really good ride quality on road, especially when it comes to bumps. I run 36/34 in general.

But I will say this truck can let you feel potholes and broken roads. It can jump you off course ever so slightly if it speed. Nothing major I would say.

Where the truck shines on road regarding obstacles are speed bumps of various types, undulations in the road or uneven pavement. Sudden potholes are something you will usually feel I find, not that it bothers the truck.

It’s all based on how the truck is setup for dealing with off road terrain. Think of the desert or typical off road situations. The shocks help with adjusting, but big donut tires bouncing off holes in the road at speed can be challenging.

Some have got even better results with spring changes. The stock suspension works good in most cases though.

Coming from a 2012 Ram Power Wagon I’m still shocked how nice my 2020 Raptor rides. I know that’s like comparing apples to potatoes but damn this truck is smooth.

Coming from a 2004 Xtra cab Tacoma myself, I can't even put into words how comfy my 19 is.

Coming from a 2012 titan with Dirt King long travel and 40's my 2020 Raptor is on a whole different level! Though I was going to miss the long travel but the Raptor is more than adequate and better engineered suspension. Although I have already purchased the Eibach springs and will be putting them on in the next week or two.
