Roof Wraps?

Morning. I passed a white gen 2 raptor with a black roof on the highway this morning. It caught my eye and thought it looked pretty slick. What's yalls opinion/experience on roof wraps? I have been searching the internet for a Gen 1 with something similar but have yet to find any. I would like to get a good idea what a black wrapped roof looks like on a gen 1 before I go and buy vinyl.

To get a general idea, this is my truck now.

I think it would look good, but it's going to throw a lot of extra heat into your cab, as compared to your white.

Looks great. However this is a matte black, I was looking for something a little more glossier.

I actually should have give you credit as I've seen you do this sort of thing before.

Poor guy thought he was going to get solid advice.... Someone here does have a white Rap with black top, and pics look good to me. There's a white Chevy with black top I've seen a few times in person, and it actually made the Chevy look pretty good.

I was thinking about this too actually. My roof has a couple spots that need re-painted, but the cost difference between vinyl wrapping it or repainting the whole roof and pillars was gonna be like 300 bucks. I'd rather just respray it for that cost.

planning on wrapping my roof matte black soon. My sunroof is broken and I dont want to fix it. I rather just wrap the entire roof. Plus itll ensure now water gets in.
