Rhino Rack kit showed up today, and is being sent back. The kit was poorly packed and shipped, and it looks like one of the boxes had already been opened and taped back shut. It was missing the caps for the feet as well as the positioning stickers. I sent Car-ID a message and they are sending me another kit out as well as providing a discount for the troubles. I just have to wait for the return label and send the old one back. Still looking for what basket/platform I wanna run.

Got my basket picked out and ordered from Car-ID. Went with the Rhino Rack Xtray Pro. It's the same as the Xtray Large, but has two bike mounts built into the front of it, and it's only like 30 bucks more. After reading around a ton of places regarding Rhino Rack v.s. Thule v.s. Yakima the options that Rhino Rack offers for their platforms and gaskets along with all the accessories drew me to go that way, plus a lot of their pricing is quite a bit cheaper, but still excellent quality. Should be here Thursday.

I have the same basket. It has worked well for me on several hunting trips loaded down.

Got the roof bars and basket installed. Wasn't hard, just read directions and it all setups up perfectly. Very nice build quality and excellent fitment. Would highly recommend.

Adding to this - I ordered a new pair of X-Bull traction boards in black since the red ones were bugging me since they don't really "blend into" the truck well behind in the roof basket. I also am most likely going to pick up a Y-strap to carry the spare tire up there as well since the 37" tire is too big to fit underneath and I don't want to use up the bed for it.

Got them installed last night. Had to modify the plastic brackets that come with them to fit the basket (they're just universal flat things) but all worked out great. I wanted to mount them on the side to not use up the inside space on the basket, plus they're very accessible this way too. I was going to clamp the plastic plates onto the basket, but I just ended up using extra heavy duty outdoor rated black zip ties. I'm assuming the plastic plates will probably break before the zip ties would. Had to add some hardware to get the spacing correct so they weren't sitting on the rack bars. Turned out great, looks much better than the red ones sitting up there inside the basket.

I've been running roof racks for a while now. I opted for the clamp-on crossbars to avoid drilling into the roof. It's been great for mounting gear and lights without any permanent modifications to the vehicle.
