Yeah, I'm going to attempt to mount it myself. I'm hoping it's pretty straight forward and an easy install.

Now doing the wiring and hooking the lights up to the aux stitches might be s little tough.

For those of you that have the bumper and lights already installed, did you hook both lights up to a single aux switch, or did you keep them separate?

And I probably should've asked Christine, but do the lights cone with a wiring harness?

Birdman has a great write up under "how to's and FAQ's" for wiring the upfitter switches.
I flllowed this when I installed the 20" Vision X bar in my stock bumper and the fog cubes.
I would assume that the 40" bars come with harnesses.

I installed it myself. Very simple and straight forward. I'm 5'10" and 170lbs and I had no issues. Just take your time on it. As for the lights, I used 1&2 switches.

Installed mine by myself. Also wired both lights up to there own relays triggered by AUX#1 switch. None of the upfitters can run that much amperage through them.

@BearLeeAsian is on the right track.

He used a wiring harness. A harness is basically a big switch that connects the lights to the power source.

Our of the relay are three main sets of wires. First set is the positive and ground that go to your light. Second set are positive and negative with ring terminals. Third set goes to your "switch". So what you're doing is allowing the relay and in-line fuse to hold the power of the light so that it's not on the stock upfitters. The ring terminals go around the battery and ground directly for power. Then your light taps into the positive and ground on the relay and then you connect your switch wire to the upfitter. This way the upfitter acts as a light switch and gives the signal to the relay to complete the circuit and then feeds power to the light itself directly from the battery. If making your own wiring harness, make sure that the fuse, relay, and wire (gauge) are all correct for your setup.

Here's a diagram that might help. This is not mine, I just grabbed it off the internet for you.

Thanks Nick for the explanation.
Going to have the bumpers installed by Rogue's shop 4 the truck custom.
Hopefully this is how they do the lights. If not, I will be changing to this setup.

Christine, Rogue, can you chime in here??

My plan when I get my Bumper is to wire up both 40" bars on the bumper PLUS 2 more 40" bars I have planned for behind the grill to 1 switch.

My thought is if I need 2 on then I will want all 4 on at the same time. You can never have enough light!!!

(I now have to do research to find out if and how I can do this)
