Yes, we have designed a groove on the inner tie rod .25" from the jam nut (also references left hand thread) to allow for a band.
You don't need a wrench on the tie rod. The last 23 sets sold have all been aligned by hand grip. Before that the first batch had 2 sides that we're not ball end milled or just left flat for a wrench, but no wrench was needed. So we decided to ball mill all 6 sides so a flat side didn't end up facing out & not matching the other tie rod.

There's a left & right hand threaded jamb nut. First for dialing in on alignment just snug with hand grip on tie rod and 1 wrench. Then final one wrench on each nut. We use 7/8" hiems on both ends, and a full surface for the nut to jamb against the rod. Works great & hiems line up square if clocked for final torque.

Does anyone have a picture of these tie rods with the rubber boot installed that they can post? Or Rogue can yall post a pic of the groove on the tie rod where the boot is supposed to snap into?
