Rock Crawl bent side step

Got out to Prairie City OHV today and was able to open her up without any crowds. I did manage to rack my passenger side step on one of the rock crawl hills bending it a bit. It’s what its there for so not concerned, but curious the best way to bend it back or to just leave it be. Doesn’t affect the door function and is only about 1-2 inch bend toward the front tire.

Look for a used on one on Craigslist. They're a standard bolt pattern through several year models. I took mine off and replaced them with AMP running boards (I'm not a serious off roader). I sold mine (brand new) for $175.00 on Craigslist.

Nice pics! You could try putting a 2x4 on top of the bent part and hitting it with a big heavy hammer? Don't miss and hit the truck though.

Stand on it and use a bit of force. I did the same while offroad and it bends back quite easily.

Ford should have put rock sliders on these trucks, but of course, we'd have to pay for them either way.
