RHO vs Raptor vs Raptor R

These guys are at altitude, so the turbo trucks (all of them but the R) have a boost advantage.

While I'm in the market for an R, I look forward to whatever Ford comes up with for the Gen 4 F-150 Raptor. It's currently beat out by the RHO, tuned Ranger, and likely tuned Bronco in the powertrain department.

Ford should have an answer and changes for the ecoboost Raptor. The RHO has much better numbers in HP, torque and at least straight forward performance- off-road different story. The ecoboost Raptor hasn’t seen engine changes since introduced in 2017.

I wish the 3.5 was a straight 6…regardless of HP that is a tip in the RHOs favor. I can’t imagine there is much more tune ability out of that 540 hp 3.0. If the Raptor had the same HP/liter thats 630 HP out of a 3.5…..from the factory…lol

Am I the only one perfectly content with the 3.5 in its current state? Great blend of power and fuel efficiency, with just very few bugs after all the years of development. I don’t need another 50 horsepower or anything like that since I don’t need to drag race from light to light, and don’t want to sacrifice reliability. Same with my PowerStroke, I can’t actually tell the difference between my high output or the standard motor. I want Ford to focus on improving quality without deleting features. But I understand horsepower is what sells.

I don’t need another 50 horsepower or anything like that since I don’t need to drag race from light to light, and don’t want to sacrifice reliability. Same with my PowerStroke, I can’t actually tell the difference between my high output or the standard motor. I want Ford to focus on improving quality without deleting features. But I understand horsepower is what sells.

I agree, if Stellantis is the benchmark we have problems. The only thing I thank them for is the TRX, which forced Ford to produce the Raptor R. While I’m not interested in the R, it satisfied a lot of Ford customers that just have to have a V8.

Curious to see if the RHO pricing impacts the Raptor pricing since it’s more competitive in its base configuration. The 37PP has lost relevance for me at $93,000 MSRP. I only picked up my F350 since it was almost $12,000 off MSRP of $102,000. It’s a lot more truck than a 37PP

Preach brother! All raptors are perfect in their current state. Ford needs to up the quality ALOT
