I do very little offroading but would still like a 30" bar behind the grille for the odd time I'd need.

How would these do against salt corrosion? Its a huge problem around here with our winter streets. My SRM's are already corroding around bolt holes. Which is weird cause I thought they were alluminum.

Also how are these for withstanding rocks? Says lens material "toughed glass"

One of the manufacturers i get lights from makes a marine version of their lights. they are more expensive, but also a higher quality light and are designed to handle salt corrosion (These look VERY similar to Rigid marine lights). I haven't had long term exposure testing on them yet though, so can't back up those claims at this point. Might be worth looking into if you are having a lot of corrosion problems though.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to look into it if these breakdown badly. It looks like as long as they don't have any steel thread inserts that are exposed, they should be okay. The rigids seem to, and its breaking down surprisingly. The housings are all aluminum so there would be minimal corrosion possible.

Now I'm itching to get the 40".
