"Reserve Now" Buttons on Raptor and Tremor

That’s sad but true. Over half the Raptors for sale on autotrader are sitting at Ram dealers. All those trade ins on the TRX. The other half are at vroom, Carvana, and Carnac it seems.

I am reluctantly thinking of just getting the TRX myself, much to the dismay I’ll get here on this forum. Dealer in IA is doing $5,000 off msrp for 22 orders, and Ram added a 3rd shift as they aren’t having chip issues at their plant (yet). First 2022 TRX build scheduled for July 6th and people who are ordering are getting VIN’s within 2 days and scheduled build dates. Hopeful if this is the route I take that the R will not be insanely priced down the road and trade values will be decent on the TRX. That would be “if the stars align.”

I’m one of the transfers to the TRX side. Ordered my 2022 about a month ago. Who’s knows, in today’s world with all new regulations maybe the R never sees the light of day.

I will enjoy the TRX and would have no problem switching back to the R.

I wouldn't fully blame issues with the website on IT alone. I would not be surprised if IT management requests for more resources are routinely denied. And decisions on what information is put on the site, and when, it's surely up to marketing, not IT.

The reality is that they are going to easily sell every Raptor, Lightning, Bronco, and Mustang Mach E that they make over the next year or so, whether the website is top notch or not. Sure, some will end up buying elsewhere, but the majority will continue to wait on the vehicle they really want despite issues.

It's annoying for those that are hyped up and eager to be first in line.

I do agree with you to a point. But after my experience with reserving two Bronco's, I have never seen a auto maker with such a poor website. And yes they'll sell every Bronco produced, but how many folks will they lose with their other models. A companies website is the first impression buyers have of a product and right now Ford's first impression isn't looking good. Just my humble opinion.

Did you cancel your Bronco order over it? If you're happy with your Bronco, but not the website, will that keep you from buying another Ford? If you're unhappy with your Bronco, but the website works perfectly, will you be eager to buyer another Ford...to get that sweet sweet website experience?

I'm exaggerating a bit of course, I just think it's a bit overblown. I get it though, if you are debating two different vehicles to buy, the website could be the deciding factor.

I bought Ford stock in 2009 at $2.89/share. Currently it is sitting at $15.94. Ford is doing something right. The supply chain is beyond ****** at this point. Not just for automotive, across all manufacturing. It will take a year or more to get things sorted out. In the mean time Ford needs to fix their website. lol

I'd be inclined to agree. Considering we're half way through the year, zero order book, and substantial supply chain shortages, launching as a 2021 would be a silly idea imo.

Not true. There will be a 2021. It will be a short production run (likely 3 months or less) and the 2022 order banks will open in September. 2021 deliveries towards the end of summer. First 2022 deliveries end of the year/beginning of 2022.

Where did you get this information (or is it just speculation)? First I've heard of order banks opening in September for 2022s. If that is the case, I'm inclined to wait for MY2022 in hope they'll offer 37s without the 70s **** blue interior... and maybe even a little hp/tq bump.
