Does anyone make or would be willing to make a bracket for repurposing of the OEM fogs for general use like for a bed light or an under the cover light or even an engine bay light? For those of us not able to take advantage of the Baja Designs buy-back program, or as an alternative, I would think something like that sell pretty well. @Specialtyperformanceparts @4x4TruckLEDs.com @OffroadAlliance.com

We looked at it. The problem is, Ford had Rigid redesign a back half of the light case that is virtually unusable in ANYTHING except those housings. There are no screw/bolt holes on the sides. Just nubs. There is one adjustment screw in the rear for leveling, which would do you no good in any application. Also, they extended the back of the case so far back for that level screw that its about 5 inches. In the rear of the truck it would stick out so far it would look terrible. You can't buy the back housing and rebuild the light, and taking a new one apart to swap the guts would make no sense as you would still have a useless light.
So with all that said, it really only leaves 2 viable options. Save them back so you can throw them back in the truck when you sell it/ trade it. Or, sell them on Ebay to all those 800A Raptor owners who didn't get that fog light setup and want it.
Unfortunately, with all those reasons above... that's the only viable option.

Basically like John said... Ford made the light "proprietary" essentially. The wire connector isn't a normal one. The mounting style isn't. It's not worth it. If you buy the Baja Designs kit from us AND send Baja Designs your old Rigid lights, they'll at least cut you a check for $200... something to think about.
