Whereas my '19 Raptor fits in my garage by width (barely) the antenna is getting caught in the raised garage door. I have seen several Raptors on this forum with after market "shorter" antennas and was looking for any recommendations and opinion if they work as good as original? Thanks

Use the Craven speed antenna I used on my gen 1 and it works great. Nice and short.

O'reilly's Auto Parts stocks a 17 inch antenna that works very well with the radio and eliminates the garage door problem. It's shorter but has more windings, so it's still a 5/8 wave antenna which is the optimum for reception.

It’s not the antenna you need to worry about but the rest of this ************* truck. I have the short antenna it works great. Now ask me about the transmission and my side mirror that has a mind of its own and after fueling up when my truck won’t start.

I just cut mine down with a Dremel cutoff wheel to be about 2" higher than my roof to act as a parking garage tickler.
