Agreed. The factory system I had in my 2008 Jeep SRT8 kills the crap in 2012 Raptor.

Yeah my wife had a 06 jeep compass when we first got together and the Boston acoustic OEM system was really good. Waaaaay better than this Sony shit

Best system I ever had in a vehicle was in my 2002 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer. I believe it was a Bose. My system in my 2008 Titan was a Rockford Fosgate and it was pretty awesome. This Sony system in my Raptor is the worst sound system I've ever had in a vehicle...and it's the most expensive. Not cool.

That's what it looks like to me. Original owner probably brought in under warranty and that's all they had in stock. Owner leaves happy, none the wiser.
