Has anyone taken theres out ? If so does it leave a weird place in the grille?

You can't. DOT requires them to be there due to the width of the truck. There are multiple threads on this subject that will fill you completely.

I find it hilarious how you get responses of don't remove them because it's ILLEGAL, yet guys are always tinting windows, removing front plates, running beadlock wheels, running HID's in halogen housings, or any other number of things that aren't legal without hesitation.

If you don't like the look, remove them. I HIGHLY doubt you'd ever get a ticket for it. Yes it's required by law for the width of the truck. But not many cops are going to think twice about seeing an f-150 and thinking it requires those lights.

Personally I think they look pretty badazz in the grille, but I wouldn't get scared away from doing it from the "It's illegal you CAN'T!" responses. Wonder how many of those same guys are running tint darker than they're allowed, or no front plate on a required front plate state, etc. lol Hypocrits

It's only illegal until you get caught lol

I hate them and I was either going to take them out or paint them black and unhook them (if there was a place left in the grille from removal) soon as I get it home. I'll leave the corner markers on the front. Most likely tint the rear ones a little.

They come right out. 2 screws per light. It will look the same as the rest of the grille. Your the first I have heard that didn't like the raptor signature lights

I know Im weird haha

I like cars/trucks really clean with no stuff that looks like add on's, no stickers, no badges. I might leave the Raptor badge and Ford oval on it. The only reason I'd leave the corner markers is that it would take a lot of money to fix them.

if you like clean lines and not that add-on look then ya gotta ditch those buck teeth style fogs in your 5.0! LoL! They drove me nuts on ours, especially with the HID headlights and halogen foglights. 1st mod was a roush billet grille powdercoated black.

Is that a roush bumper on yours? I love those style fogs in the bumper, looks more SVT style than the grille fogs. Already have a clear-bra on ours, so will probably keep the stock GT bumper and get a CDC valence.

I'd like to but there is no option for grilles. I don't like the billet looking ones. The boss one has covered holes. The C/S one doesn't look right to me either. I want to get one like is on the GT500's

The car in that pic isn't mine, it looks like mine but I dont have a chin spoiler yet, I have black wheels but not those exact ones.(those are RTR's) I'm getting Piano black F-14's right now it has 19" black GT's. Yeah it's a Roush one, I think im going to paint the side bars on the grille to look like the gt500's. Soon as the Raptor gets here I'm going to try and do a bunch of stuff before spring.

I am sure the only ones required by law are the 2 side led markers the ones in the grill are not a requirement...
