Remove 64D and get scheduled

Same here....and I'll just order the ebay wheels....overall may cost about $900 more though (wheels, shipping, install)

Of course you will also still have the base wheels. So maybe it's closer to a wash if you choose to sell them....

yes correct.....I thought I saw somewhere the ebay seller would give $650 for the originals....

I told my dealer to drop them if it got my truck into production so he did, I quickly went from no VIN on Friday to being scheduled for production this coming Monday. As a hedge I bought a set of beadlocks on ebay when they first popped up weeks ago. Truck should be in Austin in a few weeks.

I got the call today that my Oct 24 order (spot 7 of 11) would get scheduled if I dropped carbon fiber (I have standard wheels). The zone rep is at my dealer (who controls the scheduling process) today and my dealer is checking (1) any guess on delay if I keep Carbon Fiber (I'm patient until ~April/May but not June/July or after (2) if dropping carbon (I'd also drop both decal packages at same time and go with rappygraphics) increases the price to the higher $635 current MSRP.

I'm pretty tempted to drop it. I am tired of the waiting game and am guessing there will be aftermarket carbon options eventually as well if I ever wanted them.

Will keep you posted when I hear back today.

I dropped CF (and both graphics packages) so I could get scheduled (next in line, should be this week or next for schduling I'm told). They said my price SHOULD stay at the original price levels from when I ordered as well. I'm happy to save $3k for dropping comestic stuff, but will likly order graphics from rappygrapics.

When I dropped the bead locks last week my dealer said my price level was previously locked in and will not change. Just like you, I'm hoping for scheduling news soon (this wk or next). Good luck.

What are all of you doing for center caps that are ordering the wheels? Just wondered since they do not come with center caps. I seen someone making custom caps on the forum somewhere and those would be cool. Or are you ordering from the parts department at the dealer?

I do not know a ton about wheels. Can the stock center caps be used on the beadlocks? Pretty sure that's what the eBay guy told me.

No more guessing if its true or not. Removed 64D on 1/30 and on 2/3 I have a VIN#. I'd go with as of right now if you want it built remove 64D. I can't say when Ford will have the wheels in stock. But I decided I was not waiting.

Awesome, congrats! I removed the 64D option last Friday and will message Ford today to see if anything has happened. I'm guessing not, since I haven't heard anything from my dealer.

Update: Nope. Nothing. Going on 5 months since I ordered, dropped the F'n bead locks and still nothing (order #6 of 17 allocations according to my salesman). Starting to get pissed.
