Kind of similar question to what I think OP was asking - are the rear seats supposed to lock or latch onto something when they are in the down position? Or just when lifted up and into the seatback?

Mine do lock when lifted up but do not lock when in the down position; I can lift them up without using the seat release button underneath and they're not locked down when lowered. Is that how they're supposed to be? Thanks in advance

That's how mine are as well- they lock in the up position but not in the down position.

Correct they only lock when up; makes it nice one handed operation

Dumb question does the under seat storage come like that from factory or is that an after market set up?

I have a 19 on order and moving from a F250 with plenty of factory under rear seat storage so I will need to make sure I have room for stuff in the 19 Raptor or order an after market setup.

the raptor has storage but I would say it is about half the size of the f250. I had 2017 f250 now have 2018 raptor.

I think the SCREW and SCAB rear seats latch up a little different. I think with the SCAB, it does lock on the down position. I don’t have to a SCAB to confirm.
