“Here’s the thing”, your posts show otherwise. You “can’t stand it” because it embarrasses your old Gen 1. We all know you’ve never even driven an EB; you’re simply an insecure person who can’t admit when you’re wrong. You dumped tens of thousands into your truck trying to make it fast, and all it did was blow up. Which is not a surprise when you try and install forced induction on an iron block 2V engine that was designed to work in the oil fields, not in a performance application.
Ford spent tens of millions developing the Gen 2 to be the best high performance off road vehicle ever built, while building off of the segment first truck that they created with the Gen 1. They didn't go backward, that would make no sense. The Gen 3 is a smaller increase gap in terms of performance vs. Gen 2, but still notable.
Is the Gen 3 faster than my Gen 2 off road? Yes, the new coil spring suspension is amazing. Unlike you, I can admit that the newer model performs better while still being happy with what I have. Only an ignorant simpleton would cry like a child and pretend that your old truck is better than the newer ones.
