Thanks Johnny. We're order #162r. We were (and are) ready to wait like everyone else, but when one is given and told what their position is in line, you'd like to think you can count on the information given. And one definitely doesn't expect that number to change at any point along the

Redlands overbooked it looks like. I would get my deposit back and look elsewhere the odds of them filling all their orders are not good. IMO.

After speaking with robyn when she delivered my truck, she was also confused on what Ford was doing (compared to past years) and that they have a new rep to deal with. I did ask about the order number deal and I was incorrect in my overall thought, it was correct for the first few, but then had to be rearranged for some reason internally. It sounds confusing at the least of how to get around corporate Ford policies. She and her team is doing what they can to service our needs and at a great price even being a small dealership. I appreciate what they are doing as they could surely charge more for them and still not get the trucks any faster.
All I can say is hang in there guys, it is truely worth the wait!!!!!

Agreed. I certainly don't envy their position and like I said, I'm sure they would do more if they could. It is still pretty frustrating.

After our conversation with the dealer the other day we figured we'd take a stab at trying to find another Raptor. So that same night, with the wife on one computer (on AutoTrader) and me on another (on the Ford website) we started searching pretty much nationwide to see what was available.. As some of you may already know, using the Ford locator is a bit of a headache. You can't do a nationwide search (that I know of) and it asks for a zip code which meant a lot of pin dropping on google maps.
Initial finds were a that there are a LOT of SCREWS out there (we wanted a SCAB). The other thing we found is that a lot of the dealers are hiding their Raptors in their inventory. We found several on Autotrader that weren't coming up on the Ford website. We know the dealers had them because we eventually called to ask about any that we saw on AutoTrader that didn't show on the Ford website and sure enough, they had them.

So long story short, After hunting high and low we found one that was actually close to us in Dixon, CA, about 60 miles away. Called them up and they agreed to sell us the one they had for $1,500 over invoice. SOLD!!!! I know it's $1,000 over what we were paying at Redlands, but to me, getting the truck now and not having to sweat over when or if we'll ever get a truck was well worth it. Especially after you drive off the lot in one..........we went in a few hours after talking to the sales-lady and picked it up. Here it is:

Good Job GP!!!!! Looking good....

So how is the MOD's going.... LOL:hat:

SLOW!! This literally happened in a 24 hour period so I definitely wasn't ready...lol

To do:
- remove that damn license plate frame. I should have had the dealer get rid of it but it didn't look like it would be an issue.
- mid-perch adjustment.
- The one we orderd had the spray inliner, but I was going to remove that off the order and this one luckily didn't have it. So gotta do that.
- We plan to haul our motorcycles with the Raptor, so gotta get the ramps for that. Not getting huge ramps and don't want to hassle with loading them so gonna put a winch in the back to load them on there (their 2 ducati Streetfighter, so dropping on is not an option).

Some other things like wheels and tires is something we'll look around at.

I do have to say that the white is definitely a lot nicer in person than what it shows in the photos. Pretty psyched to have it.

Hello people, well I have pulled my order a month ago and just bought a used one with low mileage for a killer deal. All the money saved equal mod money.
