Being limited production it makes no sense for them to add the block heater for colder climates. Just more cost and not enough buyers.

Thanks for confirming the Inverter. No one could do that until now. Not a 12v adapter port....but an INVERTER! You know, if you wanted to plug in a space heater or computer or your GF's hairdryer--YOU CAN WITH AN INVERTER! This rules.

I had an Inverter on my '08 Jeep I just sold and that option (and the 6.1L Hemi) are th only two things I miss! Being able to plug in a real double prong plug in a vehicle is huge for me. Glad to know it's there.

Most of the other items are simple add on's. The block heater should be offered as an option IMO on the Raptor but not standard. This wouldnt cost Ford to much. Plus, a block heater only cost about $100 retail/$50-75 wholesale. We pay retail and Ford pay wholesale fyi.

Again, the block heater (for ex) would be a nice feature to help keep the Raptor at the top of the "truck shelf" having these seemingly minor yet actually big options available.

I'll bet the 2014 Raptor will have it all! Haha. **I still love mine that will be here soon! T-Minus 22 days till my Raptor Lands! :peace:

Well being there's absolutely nothing special about the 6.2 for the Raptors, and Ford sells plenty of 6.2 vehicles in northern climates, there's no reason that the Raptors being "limited" to not offer it (and I use that word "limited" very loosely since they make over 10k of them a year). Nobody's saying offer them standard issue for no cost, but as an option that cost is passed onto the buyer. All they do is pop a different freeze plug with the heater in it into the block. My second 00 HD had an engine block heater as an option, and they made less of those than they did Raptors, and that was 12 years ago.

The only thing the Raptor desperately needs is better headlights and/or stock fogs, IMO.

On topic: can't wait to see a red one in person. Saw a 2012 silver SCab at the dealership today and the new wheels looked surprisingly good, especially on the silver.

I received my 2012 red raptor 2 weeks ago and love the color. The dealer had it parked next to a 2011 black raptor when I picked her up. IMO the red just stands out much better and looks "right" on this truck. I don't get the fire truck or vette analogy quite frankly. That's like saying that black should be reserved for a hearse. To each there own. The raptor looks great in all colors.

Mine will be red also. Black looks awesome too. Wife even said black was badass. But have had 10 red vehicles in a row. Including 2 F-150's and 2 vettes. Red looks good on almost every auto in my opinion. That said, Raptor looks good in every color.
