Red F-150 Raptor, can I modifiy its look?

I had my red F-150 Raptor for a while (approximately 4 months).

A friend of mine told me that I cannot modify the look of my F-150 Raptor because its color is red. He told me it looks better with its stock look. To be more specific, he discourage me from adding ADD pre-runner front bumper, which I want. He told me it is good on F-150 Raptor with black color. He suggested adding some lights only and new wheels. Now I am confused and I regret choosing the red color.

What I have done so far were minor modifications: (1) window glass tinting; (2) bed liner; and (3) Leer tonneau cover.

What do you think? Do you suggest modifying my F-150 Raptor look or should I keep it in its stock look? Please post a picture if you have modified your F-150 Raptor (red color). I know that the Internet has tons of pictures for modified black F-150 Raptors.

It's yours why are you listening to someone who isn't writing the checks for it? Go nuts with it, if you want rainbow colored lights add them(yes we'll give you hell for it) but in the end do what you think looks bad ass and don't take a vote on it! Just my opinion for what it's worth

Color has nothing to do with modifying the truck, if you like how a different bumper or fenders look, try them out but keep the stock parts, if you end up not liking the end product, put the stock parts back on

Sorry but your friend is an idiot! As long as your mods are tasteful and not crazy over the top like putting on some crazy 28" rims then I think your red raptor will look great!

i agree. tell your friend if he thinks he knows what a raptor should look like go buy his own and let u do what u want with yours. i think the red raptor needs mor black to contrast it and look good. some vinyls, black wheels, and black bumpers would look great

Well I'm gonna start out by saying he is wrong IMO. You need to do what YOU like. It's your truck and you need to make it yours. If you are interested in the ADD bumpers and think you like them the best you should definitely get one for it. It is not going to look bad I can promise you that. The Race Red and Tux Black was what I had my choice narrowed down to and I went with the black.. mostly because the cops love red, but they notice the Raptor anyway.. But short and sweet, the color of your truck was not a bad choice and you can mod the shit out of that beast just like you could with the black.

Im sorry but your friend doesn't know what he is talking about. Plus it is your truck and you know what look you like. If you want you can always have your ADD pre-runner bumper powder coated black.

You should choose you friends more wisely.

This is ADD stuff but there are a number of manufacturers and vendors that could really set off you truck. It's a matter of choice but don't hold back because your friend is envious of what you have.

I know both of these trucks are molten orange but it is from a distance hard to tell anyway so it will give you some idea
