Hey guys so quick question about the Recon LED Tail Lights. Apparently when you order them you can choose between a 3 watt and a 6 watt white LED reverse light as recon states here

ATTN: We now offer 3-watt & 6-watt ultra high power LED Reverse bulbs for this set of tail lights.

I just installed their 3rd brake light and would like to match the LED intensity with that to the tail lights when I order them. Does anyone know if the 3rd brake light comes with a 3 watt or 6 watt white LED bulbs?

Thanks!

does your Recon 3rd brake light retain the 3 red LEDs running lights?

Not the ones that I've seen. Light only comes on when you hit the brakes.
Kinda takes away from the look of the Raptor not seeing those 3 LED's on.

Don't worry about what tail light wattage to get to match your third brake light because being Recon it will most likely burn out before you get the tail lights or the tail lights won't work when you get them! I can't believe there are people who still buy from Recon! Don't people read reviews and check out a company's customer service history before buying anymore?

It seems people have had some bad luck with Recon, Ive used their lights on vehicle for the past 5 years and never had an issue with anything...I think it boils down to people not wiring things in properly, and not using a proper sealant. I saudered all my wiring to ensure no loose connections or sparking, and also used a good RTV sealant on all the gaskets and seals prior to installing them.
