Recon "LED" Illuminated Fender Logos

My died the other day not sure why. Was trying to get a set from the double AA but he's pretty busy and it was always next week so I decided **** it new fenders over Christmas break anyway

I'd tie into the running lights

That's what I did and I like the look of them. Now I need to get some red vinyl and put it on the "SVT". I'm not a fan of the SVT being white when he light is of. That's the only drawback for me.

What combo would y'all run to achieve a blacked out emblem when off and an amber illuminated light matching the other stock amber lighting?

I'm thinking the Recon Amber Illuminated Emblem

Then tinting it somehow...
Believe the spray tint may be the easiest with good results.

I don't know how tinting would work. I haven't seen how bright these are and you may have to get a few decent coats to really black it out.

Recon doesn't have the greatest track record around here. Plus, they're rather expensive for what they are. That's why I did the mirror reflectors myself.

So you replaced the recon led unit with this eBay unit?

No, its just a thin tinted sheet. Pop led out, and sandwich the sheet in between vent housing and LED
