Just measured mine exactly the same measurement front of rear tire to leaf spring before clamp to outside of tire 19- 1/2". I did have a 2015 F150 that the bed was misaligned by 1/2" once you notice it you can't un-notice it.

Checked my '18 with a straightedge on the outside of the tire and measured from it to the outside of the fender. About 3/4" at the front and 3/8" at the rear on the left and 7/8" at the front and 3/8 at the rear on the right. L/R tire pressures were 41/42 psi. Lots of possible errors in this measurement.

Best way would be from the frame to the wheel front/rear both sides.
