We have the lower reinforcement shock mounts coming next week. They wrap around the lower shock mount and mount off the rear of the two U-bolts. Makes it stronger and keeps it from twisting. I will have pics of them end of next week and the exact cost.

How many people have actually had issues with this?

Which part? The upper or lower shock mounts?

I will speak for myself...
On my upper mounts, having them relieved of metal to allow the ICON 3.0 shocks to fit. I would feel better with a little extra reinforcement, even though it is not necessary.

The lower mounts, I have hit both sides on rocks and other immovable objects. So much so, that my driver side was bent and had to be "adjusted" to allow new shocks to mount to it..

Sounds like an upper and lower package deal is in order!
