Hey guys, I did a search on this with mixed results, wanted to try again and see if anyone had this experience on the SCREW.

I have a 2019 SCREW and I pulled on the loop to get the rear seats up and they lock in place great. The problem is when I pull the loop again to lower them, they won't lock in place, and are able to flap back up. A lot of people say the seats don't lock, but I know they do because when I went to lift them the first time they were locked firmly in place.

Does anyone have any tricks or tips to getting them to lock back down? I've tried the cuss and slam method, and I've also tried the gentle whisper in your ear version, both with no luck. Thanks all and I'm sorry again if this has been addressed.

Thanks for the reply, I'm wondering if I've lost my damn mind. I saw the other thread and a bunch of people were saying they didn't lock, and then some people were saying theirs locked. Not trying to be asinine here, but I remember them being locked down because I tried to flip mine up and they were locked in place, and I had to actually search for the tab to get them up.

My bench does not lock in the down position but up it does. Also bought that latch thing to lower the seat back on the driver side.

My don’t lock on the down position. Only the seat back lock. They only lock when you flip up the seat, then you have to pull on the latch to release them back for the sitting position.

I went through the same thing with my 2017. They seemed to lock in the down position in the beginning but now they don’t.

I got over that but the annoying thing is the single seat doesn’t align with the double seat. Single is higher

Doesn’t lock when down. But you know when you do a big jump or hit the rough stuff when the back seats slam up and lock by themselves. Good times!
