I don’t know that I’d recommend an 850lb ATV back there. This was mine with a Ducati Monster barely touching 450lbs in it… Drove fine, but certainly didn’t feel “built for it”F9535A2B-39F5-479C-9DA0-804D88110E7E.jpeg

Thanks for posting the pic. I made a mistake when I said 850 lbs, new atv will be right around 500 lbs so the squat will be similar to yours. Your atv is equivalent to 3 Adults in the bed of the truck!! Is yours gen3?

no thats a gen 2. but I have read that the gen 3 and the coils sag more at the beginning and as they compress they stiffen. leaf springs seam to be more consistent all the way thru the loading of it. otherwise they'd use coils on the 3/4 and 1 ton

I have a Can Am Outlander 570 Max XT that weighs a published dry weight of 741 poounds. With the Max being a 2-seater (front-back seats) the rear tires are right at the edge of the lowered tailgate. With the stock springs it leveled it out just about perfectly. I have Deaver +3s now and it about levels it, but not quite, although it rides better with the Deavers.

I’m on my 3rd raptor and have towed and carried with all 3. This version seems to handle the trailer and payload the best.
Why do you say this? Just curious because I have a 2018 and I ended up changing my leafs and adding a bump
Stop kit to help tow my boat (probably looking at 7500 lbs loaded on trailer) and now I have a 22 on order that should come in sometime February and I need to find options for towing because I hate the *** sag hahahahaha. This is my current set up
