Have any of the vendors like RPG or Outlaw been looking at offering this in their kits instead of the deavers and such? If not, I would be curious to know why. Maybe it's noot a good thing? I'm just beinng inquisitive, but am retarded as to why or why not this is a good or bad thing.

Dude, if you want this set up, ill gladly build it for you, but realise, this thing will have massive body roll on the street, would require quite a bit of maintenance (grease all joints, rebuilding shocks) and would take definitely a couple tuning sessions if not more. But i would build this set up for anyone who wanted it. It's very similar to my last truck. Real easy, only using coilovers as the suspension.

Okay, that's great, but what I would like to know is if it's BETTER for desert running than what's stock, because as I understand the discussion, it's different. Maybe I don't understand the discussion. And if it's better, why haven't the vendors such as RPG or Outlaw done this setup already? Or hell, maybe they have and I just don't understand their kits very well. Additionally, based on you saying it would require tuning sessions, my truck isn't a valid candidate, because when it's built in 7 days, it will be shipped from Michigan to it's new home in the UK where I'll be scarinng unsuspecting British people off the road for a few years; therefore, I wouldn't be able to give the truck up for several tuning sessions. Thanks for the input though, WSI guy :)

Correct me if I'm wrong but by keeping the frame in place isn't the up travel severely limited? If I was going to spend the money to link the rear I would want to get as much travel as possible.

Yes, but you can get a little more up travel than stock, and a lot more down travel. Set the truck up to sit a little higher. Removing that stock bump stop thing and the pad it hits will allow for an easy 3 more inches than stock too.

I understand all that...it just seems like a lot of work and money for a couple of inches. If I was to go through all the work I would just cut the frame and get some real travel out of it. But that's just me...
