Dang. He sent me a video this morning. Screen just goes black when he puts it in reverse. Is that what yours does?
Good luck, hope it is everything you expected. You can't give members here a hard time for your UNICORN, if everything turns out in your favor, that is a good deal, most times there would be more than a camera problem, just sayin'. Now the camera function sounds like the camera might be there but not working, sounds like a ground issue or something, who knows for sure though. Post pics when it gets here!

sometimes yes sometimes it works this is a known problem not just with f150 but explorers and other vehicles since last year and it has to do with microchips so wouldnt be expecting to get it fixed right away

Close ...but he also has a 37 gen 3(which he is keeping), a gen 2 and a gen 1. And didn't post it for sale. And he has a house locally to me along with a house 8 hours away. He is willing to get camera fixed but dealer has no Appt times until 2 weeks away, I need to jump on this deal before he changes his mind lol

So he's got money to burn. Makes some sense to deal with you, since you also go through Raptors (other vehicles) rather quickly. Build that relationship, as you might be able to help him get the hard to find vehicle he wants in the future...or something like that. Taking a 5-10k loss on this deal is probably worth it to him.

What about the side and front camera? Do they work? What exactly is missing?

Ya I get a new raptor every year typically for work. My 2020 just 40k. I drive ALOT. LOL

Just rear.

Update. I just called the dealership he bought it from. They confirmed it’s a warranty issue and my local ford will help(if they have the parts). If not they’ll have to order them.
