I need to remove my bumper today and I am confused why these instructions do not account for the backup sensors?

Subbed as just ordered the ADD venom rear bumper and heard the rear is much more involved than the front.

I need to remove my bumper today and I am confused why these instructions do not account for the backup sensors?

OK .. I just remove my bumper from the hitch and the instructions are as follows:

1 - remove the two license plate lights. from under the truck push the light in and then turn counter clock wise and it will pop right out.

2 - Remove the six 10mm bolts (3 per side). See pic 1 below.

3 - Once the 6 bolts are removed, the bumper is still attached to the hitch via 2 plastic tabs. The 2 tabs are purely for the factory line worker to aligned the bumper with the hitch. I had to break the tabs as there was no way you can free the bumper from the hitch. Pic 2 below shows the 2 slots where the tabs fit and pic 3 shows the tab location on the bumper. As you can see they are broken.

4 - I have a 2013 so I have four backup sensors. You have 2 options here: option 1: remove all 4 wires to the sensors and the bumper will be free. Please note this sounds easy but there are few plastic tabs that route the 4 wires that have to be detached from the bumper.
option 2: Remove the wire harness that connects to the 4 sensors to the truck. So this means disconnecting 2 plugs: the main plug and the tow hitch plug. The reason why the tow plug has to be removed from the hitch because it also connects to the main plug which then connects to the 4 backup sensors. Please note you have to remove the ground wire if you free the main plug. So when you remove the bumper all the wires will still be attached to the bumper where option 1 the wire harness is still attached to the truck.
