I noticed fog/moisture in my passenger taillight a few weeks ago, and now when getting out after shutting off, I notice my rear passenger reverse light blinking like yours, for approximately 20 seconds. Noticed yesterday that the drivers side has moisture as well. Wonder if you see moisture in yours as well. Assuming that’s the issue.
Decided to investigate and removed both tail lights, as not only the blinking reverse light on my passenger side like you, but also no tail light. Rainy days (or maybe car wash) has water entering both rear light assemblies. Passenger is worse. I left opened up overnight and now blow drying and caulking these stress fractures (cracks) that have apparently been allowing water in. My passenger housing had a good few ounces of water in it.
