I would go with Forged as well. I understand not going with bump stops, did you consider shackles? Since you'll already have the springs off it would be a good time. I just ordered Camburg stock length and they have poly bushings like the Deavers (down side is another 2-3 week wait).

Thanks for the info. I was planning on getting a set of Camburg shackles at the same time as the Deavers.

I just ordered a set of icon rear springs with the forged off road bump stop pad and camburg stock length shackles. I think they (forged and sdhq) will both do the job fine, but I’ve used Paul’s stuff before and it’s all been good. So I went that route.

I’m curious only because I dont know much about shackles but what benefits do you gain with the upgraded ones? I’m looking to do the same thing stated above and just wondering if it’s worth the extra money.

I'll admit I don't know much about them either heh, but from what I've read there's a couple reasons to upgrade; strength/performance (stock is stamped metal with rubber bushings, aftermarket is boxed & welded with polyurethane bushings) and the option to change rear ride height/up-travel (a longer shackle drops the rear end at ride height but allows the spring to de-arch farther upwards; the latter being more important if you spring under). From threads I've seen on here there's a noticeable improvement in rear suspension smoothness, and while I know that's entirely subjective the price is low enough to take a chance, especially as I said in my case while I'm already upgrading to Deavers anyway. Someone correct me if I'm wrong or cares to elaborate, please do.
