I don't know what gas mileage the "R" will get, however, if the 755 hp. Shelby F150 is any indication, you should see a range of about 500ish. It got a reliable 14.5 mpg. I drove it reasonably. The only time I really stepped into it hard was when I'd go to pass someone and they'd try to outrun a Shelby.

I felt like Wylie Coyote tied to a ACME rocket.

Bigger, heavier, taller vehicle, with big tires. So I think we're talking TRX mileage. But if Ford can deliver a real, usable, 500 mile range, I would be very tempted. If a recession made MSRP possible? 800a in Avalanche Gray with 37s? F*ck, just take my money.

Texas gas prices are pretty low on the scale compared to the rest of the country. There maybe places with lower fuel costs, but by and large, it’s cheaper here. $10/gallon TX cost would mean higher pretty much anywhere else. We can’t sustain those fuel costs long term, it will cascade throughout the economy like a giant bowling ball.

I think it will continue upward but I hope it levels off before that and then starts returning to expensive, rather than insane.
What do you want to bet it levels off before midterms?

The Shelby had a 6" lift with 35s. As far as weight, about the same.

Getting 16 mpg with a 60/40 mix. More highway.
I think its bad! expected more out of a 3.5L TT but not complaining. Mpg was the least of my worries buying an almost $100k truck

I just did 3k cross country. Best I did was almost 18 but you can’t go over 70mph to achieve this. Around town it’s going to be about 15. Slightly disappointing but I knew that going into the purchase as it lists the EPA MPG on the sticker. It’s dead on accurate in my opinion.

Yeah, you got it figured out man! That’s the key to achieving 18 or higher…light throttle but hardly ever will you do the speed limit. :anitoof: Sucks but what’s the rush to get wherever? At nearly 18, I bet that fill up was nice…tank wise (DTE).

600 miles, 14.9 average. Mostly city driving to the mall/starbucks. The only highway driving I have done was 120 miles at 65 mph and I was getting about 17.5 mpg using 91 E10. On my second tank now, using 93 E10, mpg still staying around that 15 number, all city driving normal mode. May try 91 E0 next to see if there is a difference.

Dealer filled with 87 and was getting 14-15...Filling up my second tank with 93, I got around the same. I don't even notice a difference in MPG's. Im not worried about gas since my gas is free anyways.
